Do you know your UI
from your UX?

2idesign believe that it is impossible to produce an exceptional design without a strong knowledge of both terms. But what are the differences between User Interface design (UI) and User Experience design (UX)? One easy analogy would be that UI is the saddle, the stirrups and the reigns, whilst UX is the feeling you get being able to ride the horse.

Unlike UX design which is concerned with the overall feel of the product, UI is the design of each screen or page with which a user interacts and ensuring that it visually communicates the path that the UX has laid out. UX is primarily concerned with how the product feels. Each given design problem has no single right answer, but the UX needs to explore many different approaches when solving a specific user problem.
